THE TEENS. THEY’RE rebelling. And it’s not pretty.
Last night, Australian improv comedy group the Janoskians announced a tour of the UK and mainland Europe, including one date at Dublin’s Academy venue.
The group played The Olympia Theatre in Dublin last year to a sold-out crowd, but Irish fans are extremely unimpressed with their decision to play the smaller Academy this time around.
So unimpressed that they’re actually threatening to burn the place down.
The #JanoskiansChangeDublinVenue hashtag is trending on Twitter in Ireland, as fans plead with the band to rethink the venue with a healthy dose of caps lock and hyperbole:
The band, however, does not appear to be moved by the pleas, simply calling the fans’ threats “rock’n'roll“.
Truly, this is the second coming of punk. God help us all.
